What is Tholinar?

Tholinar is a Final Fantasy XIV crafting helper that builds Shopping Lists from your planned crafts and the inventory you already own.

Is Tholinar free during beta?

Yes. The closed beta is free to use.

What does the plugin do?

The plugin collects inventory snapshots so the website can subtract owned items and keep your Shopping List accurate.

Does Tholinar craft items for me?

No. Tholinar helps you plan what to gather or craft, but you still craft in game.

Does Tholinar modify gameplay or automate actions?

No. Tholinar is for planning and inventory tracking. It does not replace normal in-game crafting actions.

How do I install the plugin?

Start with Getting Started or the Downloads page.

How do I sync inventory?

Stage the Retainers you want included, then click Sync Now in the plugin.

Why is my inventory missing or out of date?

Usually the Retainer was not staged, or the latest Sync Now has not been run yet. Check the Getting Started steps.

Does Tholinar handle HQ and NQ materials?

Yes. Tholinar is designed to work with the crafting materials you track in your inventory and Shopping List.

Can I use Tholinar without syncing inventory?

You can browse the Calculator, but syncing inventory is what keeps the Shopping List accurate.

How do I report bugs or request features?

Use Feedback or join the Tholinar Discord.

What features are not part of the closed beta yet?

Closed beta focuses on setup, syncing, and planning. Larger account and cloud features are not part of this beta release.
