Direct install
Custom repo install
Add this custom repository URL in the Dalamud Plugin Installer. This is the recommended closed-beta installation method.

After installing through Dalamud, open the plugin, request a pairing code, pair at tholinar.com, stage each Retainer, and run Sync Now.

Get set up in a few minutes
- Install Tholinar from the Dalamud Plugin Installer.
- Open the plugin in-game and request a pairing code.
- Sign in at tholinar.com and pair your device.
- Stage each Retainer in the plugin.
- Run Sync Now, then open Calculator.
Release notes
- 0.2.1 fixes retainer inventory locations so they now show the correct visible page number (1-5) on tholinar.com.
- 0.2.1 also fixes dev/test plugin installs defaulting to localhost; production API is now the default unless THOLINAR_API_BASE_URL is explicitly set.
- 0.2.0 is the official release with self-service install, website pairing, and custom repo support.
- The plugin syncs inventory and retainer snapshots for the web app.
- Tholinar is still actively evolving, so performance and UI polish will keep improving.
FAQ
- Do I need to pay to use Tholinar?
- No. The current release is public and self-service.
- Will this overwrite my inventory?
- No. The plugin uploads a snapshot so the website can read what you already own.
- Do I need to re-pair after updating?
- Usually no. Updates should keep the same account pairing unless you intentionally reset it.
Troubleshooting
- Download button does nothing: Try opening the page in a normal browser tab instead of a built-in preview and make sure pop-up blocking is not hiding the download.
- Plugin does not appear in Dalamud: Confirm the Tholinar custom repo URL is added, install Tholinar from the Plugin Installer, and reload Dalamud.
- Pairing still fails: Open Pair Device again, confirm the Discord session is active, and re-enter the current plugin code.
